About the job
For a dynamic organisation in Dendermonde, we are looking for an ambitious Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing existing customers, attracting new customers, and achieving sales growth. You are the face of the company and act as the first point of contact for customers, building and maintaining strong relationships.
Your responsibilities
- Customer management: Maintain and further develop relationships with existing customers.
- New business: Actively prospect for new customers and identify market opportunities.
- Advice and sales: advising customers on products and services and negotiating contracts.
- Objectives: Achieve sales and growth targets within your region.
- Reporting: Preparation of sales reports and tracking customer information in CRM systems.
- Collaboration: Close collaboration with internal teams, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Market trends: analysing market developments and identifying growth opportunities.

Who are you?
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a commercial field, or equivalent through experience.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a commercial role, preferably in B2B.
- Competences:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Results-oriented, entrepreneurial and customer-oriented.
- Able to work independently and prioritise.
- Technical knowledge:
- Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Language skills: Fluent in Dutch; knowledge of English or French is an asset.
