About the job
For a dynamic company in Lokeren, we are looking for an Account Manager responsible for developing new customer relationships and maintaining existing customer portfolios. In this role, you will work closely with the sales team and customers to provide tailored solutions that meet their needs. You have strong commercial acumen and know how to identify opportunities and turn them into concrete sales results.
Your responsibilities
- Relationship management: Maintain and build on existing customer relationships and generate new customers within your region.
- Sales: Actively selling products and services and achieving sales targets.
- Consulting: advising customers on tailor-made solutions and products that fit their needs and business goals.
- Negotiations: Negotiating prices and terms with customers, and concluding contracts.
- Customer satisfaction: Ensure highest customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and understanding and fulfilling customer needs.
- Market analysis: monitoring market developments and competitors to identify and respond to commercial opportunities.
- Reporting: Maintaining sales reports, analysing performance and reporting results to management.

Who are you?
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commercial Economics, Sales or a similar field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a commercial role, preferably as an Account Manager or in a similar sales role.
- Commercial acumen: You have a strong commercial drive and know how to create and exploit new opportunities.
- Communicative: You have excellent communication skills and can be persuasive both orally and in writing.
- Networking skills: You know how to engage customers and have experience in building long-term customer relationships.
- Independent: You are proactive, can work independently and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Results-oriented: You have a strong focus on achieving goals and work hard to achieve them.
