We are looking for an Electromechanical Engineer for a progressive company in Lokeren. In this role, you will ensure the maintenance, repair and optimisation of machines and installations. Do you have a passion for technology and would you like to work in a dynamic environment? Then read on!

What will you do as an electro-mechanic?

As an Electromechanical Engineer, you will combine your knowledge of mechanics and electricity to solve breakdowns and improve processes.

Your duties:

• Preventive maintenance: performing inspections and planned maintenance tasks on machines and installations.
• Troubleshooting: Analyse and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Optimisation: Contribute to improvement projects to optimise plant operation.
• Installations: Assembly, testing and commissioning of new machinery.
• Safety: Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulations.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a motivated electro-mechanic with:

• A degree in electromechanics, electricity or a similar technical field.
• Experience in maintenance and fault analysis is a plus.
• Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and/or PLC controls.
• Problem-solving skills and an independent working attitude.
• A driving licence B and willingness to work in a shift system (if required).
