What does a Failure Technician do?
As a breakdown technician, you are the expert in solving technical breakdowns quickly and efficiently. You ensure that everything keeps running, whether it’s sophisticated machines, production lines or electrical installations.
Your duties:
- Diagnosing: Analyse faults and quickly identify the cause.
- Perform repairs: Fix technical defects in mechanical, electrical or pneumatic systems.
- Preventive maintenance: preventing problems by planning and carrying out proactive maintenance.
- Optimisation: Thinking along on improvements to machines and processes to minimise breakdowns.
- Communication: Report to your team on the work carried out and any follow-up.
What do you bring?
- A degree in electromechanics, electricity, or equivalent technical background.
- Experience in an industrial or technical environment is a plus.
- Good knowledge of mechanics, electronics and/or automation.
- A solution-oriented mindset and stress resistance – you keep a cool head in any situation!
- Willingness to work shifts or participate in on-call duty (if applicable).

- Salary: An attractive salary between €3,000 and €4,500 gross per month, depending on your experience and competences.
