About the job

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller for a progressive organisation in Beveren. In this role, you will play a key position within the finance department. You will be responsible for monitoring the financial health of the company, preparing reports and providing strategic advice to management.

Your responsibilities

• Financial planning: Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Analysis: Perform in-depth financial analysis and provide advice to support strategic decisions.
• Reports: Prepare monthly and annual reports for management and other stakeholders.
• Process optimisation: Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and internal controls.
• KPI management: Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial performance.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with financial and tax laws and regulations.
• Collaboration: Actively work with different departments to achieve financial targets.

Who are you?

• Education: Master’sdegree in Economics, Finance or Accountancy, or equivalent through experience.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial auditing, preferably in an international environment.
• Technical knowledge:
  • Strong skills in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and financial modelling.
  • Experience with IFRS and BE GAAP is a plus.
• Competences:
  • Analytical, solution-oriented and accurate.
  • Communicative strong and able to translate complex financial data into clear insights.
  • Proactive and results-oriented with a strategic mindset.
• Language skills: Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
