What will you do as an HR Assistant?

As HR Assistant, you are the clerical mainstay of the HR team. You provide assistance with various HR tasks and ensure that everything runs smoothly administratively. You will collaborate closely with the HR Manager and HR Officer to ensure an optimal HR experience for employees.

Your duties and responsibilities:

  • Administrative support: Managing personnel files, contracts, and documents.
  • Recruitment and selection: You will aid in the recruitment process by drafting job openings, handling applications, and reaching out to candidates.
  • Payroll: Assist with monthly payroll and prepare paperwork for payroll processing.
  • Employee tracking: Managing sick and leave records and handling requests.
  • HR reports: Compiling reports and analyses for the HR Manager.
  • Communication: Serve as a contact point for employees regarding HR inquiries and provide details on human resources policies.
  • Training and development: Support in scheduling and arranging training and workshops for employees.

Who are we looking for?

  • You hold a degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • You have at least 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative or HR support role.
  • You are systematic, accurate, and have an eye for detail.
  • You possess a solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • You have outstanding communication skills and a client-focused approach.
  • You demonstrate a proactive work ethic and can collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • You have a fundamental knowledge of employment legislation and HR procedures.
