Vacancy: HR Manager – Beveren

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager for a dynamic organisation in Beveren. In this role, you will bear responsibility for developing and implementing HR policies aimed at growth, engagement and the optimal deployment of talent within the organisation.
What will you do as HR Manager?
As HR Manager, you are both a strategic partner and a hands-on leader. You work closely with the board and line managers to implement HR initiatives that contribute to business goals.
Your responsibilities:
- HR strategy: Develop and implement a strategic HR policy in line with organisational goals.
- Talent development: Setting up programmes for training, coaching and advancement opportunities for employees.
- Recruitment and selection: Overseeing the entire recruitment process and ensuring that the right talents are attracted.
- Performance Management: Supervising evaluation processes, drafting KPIs and supporting managers in feedback and development interviews.
- Employment law and compliance: ensuring compliance with employment laws, collective agreements and internal guidelines.
- Engagement and culture: developing initiatives to increase employee satisfaction and involvement.
- Change management: Supervising change processes within the organisation, such as reorganisations or new projects.
- HR reports: Analyse HR data and report to management on trends and improvement opportunities.
- Leadership: Managing the HR team and acting as a mentor and coach.

Who are we looking for?
- Education: A master’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial HR role, preferably within a medium-sized or large organisation.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Belgian employment legislation, HR processes and best practices.
- Competences:
- Strategic insight combined with operational decisiveness.
- Strong communication skills and able to interact at different levels.
- Analytical ability and results orientation.
- Leadership and a people-oriented approach.
- Language skills: Fluent in Dutch; knowledge of French and/or English is a plus.
