For a leading technical company in Beveren, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Welder/Mechanic. You will work on the maintenance, repair and assembly of machines and structures, both on site and in the workshop. Are you technically strong and ready for a new challenge? Then read on!

What will you do as a welder/mechanic?

In this versatile role, you will combine welding work with mechanical maintenance. You will ensure that machines and structures function optimally and work on projects in a technical environment.

Your duties:

• Welding: Perform welding work (TIG, MIG/MAG or electrode) on machines, pipes and structures.
• Mechanical maintenance: repair, maintain and overhaul machinery and equipment.
• Assembly: assembling and installing mechanical parts and structures.
• Inspection: Performing inspections and reporting technical problems.
• Safety: Work according to applicable safety standards and guidelines.

Who are we looking for?

• Experience in welding (TIG, MIG/MAG or electrode) and mechanical maintenance.
• Technical degree in mechanics, metalworking or similar.
• Good knowledge of technical drawings and diagrams.
• Independent, accurate and problem-solving.
• In possession of a driving licence B.
